Server

JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for an energetic, friendly and service driven Server to join our team. Applicant we be the face of the dining experience and responsible for providing attentive, knowledgeable and personalized service to every guest. You will guide guest through the menu, take accurate orders, deliver food and beverages efficiently and create a warm and welcomng atmosphere.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Greet guests promptly and warmly, establishing a positive first impression.
2. Present menus, answer questions about menu items and make thoughtful recommendations.
3. Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
4. Deliver food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
5. Check in with guests throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction.
6. Handle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to management as needed.
7. Clear and reset table efficiently between guests.
8. Process payments accurately and thank guests sincerely upon departure.
9. Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including side work and station prep.
10. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be 18+ and meet any legal requirements for alcohol service in your state

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Prior experience as a server in a full-service or upscale casual restaurant preferred

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong multitasking and time management abilities

Genuine desire to create memorable guest experiences

Professional appearance and demeanor

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
