We are looking for a Creative who thinks like a Chef in our Farm to Fork restaurant located on our 30-acre organic farm in Idaho wine country. We are a small cidery and vegetable farm with a beautiful restaurant. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food, vegetable, sustainable agriculture and their art. We are looking for a hard worker that love creative freedom but does not mind getting the job done. We host beautiful farm to fork cafe that is open weekly and beautiful field set dinners. We are a small staff and this person will do everything from prep, line, dishes, shopping and scheduling.

This person be passionate about food; will keep-up with the latest food trends and products and will have a strong understanding of, and be responsive to, organic, seasonal, farm-to-table and sustainable, environmentally conscious farming. We are looking for a Chef that creates elevated comfort food from cultures all around the world. We are looking for a Chef that create plates that are approachable, beautiful, delicious and unique.

The local farming world is thriving, and people are aware, now more than ever, of where their food comes from. The best food comes from the best soil. If you are a Chef de Cuisine that is inspired by the use of produce grown locally and proteins that are raised sustainably, as well as have high-quality vendor relationships to source additional ingredients, while promoting environmental, economic, and soil regeneration for the Guest, our community, and the planet, then we need to talk to you!

We have an exciting, high-growth potential opportunity for a cook or chef to use creativity with menus while managing the kitchen at our full-service "finer but not fine" cafe.

Changing the menu offerings multiple times weekly to capitalize on the produce picked that week, fish caught that Monday, etc. should inspire creativity and excitement for you and our Guests. You should be comfortable utilizing fresh produce, preservation methods, and multiple ways of using 100% of everything that was delivered to benefit our Guest experience.

We are looking for a creative, positive, and planet conscious Chef to join us in our mission of providing the most creative, compelling, and tasty food for our Guests. With a menu that will change on an up to daily basis, Guests will always have something new and exciting to share and experience. KEY Responsibilities:

Manage Food Preparation ensure quality food prep and procedures are followed to deliver dishes that meet health code, recipe, and plating standards.
Kitchen Operations Create vendor relations, maintain inventory, maintain food safety, hire, and train staff, scheduling, perform reviews. Monitor equipment quality and keep licensing up to standards. Balance portion size, price, and the need to deliver a profit for the restaurant.
Cook -we are interested in someone who wants to cook their food and be on the line.
Creation of Daily and Seasonal Menus - Create daily and seasonal menus and to-go or take away products for farmers market and farm store, based on company grown produce and locally sourced

Job Requirements:

The EC is hands-on and cooks and directly supervises the cooking of items that require skillful preparation.
Organized and detail-oriented.
The ability to lead, motivate and mentor aspiring individuals throughout the organization.

Working Conditions: Expected to be in the kitchen during open hours and prep hours

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds, stand/move for extended periods of time, and withstand varying temperature extremes.
