SUMMARY:Responsible for welcoming Spa guests, maintaining the front desk, making spa reservations, checking in spa guests who have appointments while assuring a high-level of guest satisfaction and professionalism.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Performs excellent guest service at all times.Greets and services Spa guests in a friendly and professional manner.Schedules Spa appointments and makes reservations for members and guests.Maintains the appointment calendar and confirms all Spa appointments.Assists walk-in guests who do not have appointments and books them as soon as possible.Ensures timely services to all guests, keeping with a scheduled time line to provide an optimal number of guests accommodated.Maintains a working knowledge of all services and products offered at the Spa.Explains Spa products, services, and treatments to guests and assist them with determining their individual needs.Promotes the sales of additional Spa services and specials being offered in a positive and motivating way. Receives payments from guests for services and products. Ensures appropriate stock of supplies necessary to effectively perform job responsibilities. Maintains a neat and orderly work area and assists in the appearance and cleanliness of the Spa.Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record.Performs any reasonable request made by management.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to guests, small group situations and other team members.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
