Grill Cook | Hiring Multiple Positions**

**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and efficient Cook to accurately prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for various meal periods, including Breakfast, Lunch, and Special/Catered Events. The role requires a keen sense of taste and presentation, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare, season, and cook meats and vegetables using methods such as frying, grilling, and sauteing.
+ Prepare, season, and cook starches, vegetables, and other hot side food items.
+ Perform food preparation work for cooking, including seasoning and portioning.
+ Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
+ Deep fry, grill, and saute meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods, ensuring quality by tasting, smelling, and piercing.
+ Portion food on serving plates and add gravies, sauces, and garnishes as needed.
+ Select recipes per menu cycle, prepare bakery items, receive inventory, and prepare meals for customers requiring special diets.
+ Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment, adhering to all client and regulatory rules and procedures.
+ Follow food safety and physical safety policies at all times, using personal protective equipment when required.
+ Comply with all HACCP policies and procedures.
+ Report all accidents and injuries promptly.
+ Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
+ Attend both classroom and virtual training programs.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in food production, line cooking, and food preparation.
+ Ability to skillfully fry, grill, and saute a variety of foods.
+ Understanding of food safety and HACCP policies.
+ High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
+ 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in preparing meals for special diets is a plus.
+ Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines.
+ Knowledge of inventory management and ingredient selection.
