Job Title: Legal Receptionist
Contract: Temporary to Perm
Location: Hartford, CT
Reports To: Client Services Supervisor/Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Legal Receptionist. This position provides front desk reception and mailroom support for a law firm. Core responsibilities include answering phones, greeting guests, making and maintaining coffee supplies, and occasional assistance in the mailroom. No heavy lifting or prolonged standing/walking is required.
Schedule & Pay:
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay rate: $19.57/hr - $21/hr
Responsibilities:
Operate a multi-line phone system and direct calls professionally
Greet and assist clients, visitors, and attorneys
Prepare and maintain coffee service, ensuring supplies are stocked
Provide backup support to the mailroom as needed
Deliver high-quality customer service in a professional environment
Requirements:
High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelors degree preferred
3+ years of related administrative or reception experience, preferably in a law firm
Experience with MS Office (especially Word and Excel)
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Professional demeanor and customer service focus
Familiarity with basic office equipment
