About the Role
As a Facilities Maintenance Tech Lead, you are responsible for leading day-to-day operations of our facilities maintenance team including managing on-site technicians, coordinating with vendors, and serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the maintenance team, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
- Supervise and support staff technicians and delegate daily maintenance assignments
- Manage vendor relationships, including scheduling, site access, quality control, and invoice review
- Serve as the point of contact for senior management, reporting site issues, updates, and progress on key initiatives
- Ensure preventative and corrective maintenance across all facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair
- Monitor and repair culinary and commercial equipment as needed
- Perform general facility upkeep (e.g., painting, lighting, minor remodeling, etc.)
- Maintain clean and safe working environments both indoors and outdoors (excluding snow removal)
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and commercial equipment repair
- 6+ months experience using technology such as smart phones and tablets, inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven experience troubleshooting culinary/commercial kitchen and HVAC/R equipment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with vendors, employees, and senior management
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Valid drivers license desired
Requirements
- 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
- Able to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 50 pounds of weight by oneself
- Able to perform physical tasks for a full shift while working including standing, kneeling, climbing, and crouching
- Comfortable working in varying physical and environmental conditions including, but not limited to, heights, confined spaces, and loud noises
- Comfortable working in various temperatures including cold environment (34-40 degrees Fahrenheit depending on site) and occasional freezer temperatures that can range anywhere from 0-10 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to communicate effectively as needed to carry out job functions, including reading, writing and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to work evenings and weekends
