Essential Duties :

  • Greet customers warmly and take orders efficiently
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, and fresh juices
  • Operate espresso machines, blenders, juicers, and other beverage equipment
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and customization options

Customer Service & Sales

  • Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer questions about drinks and ingredients
  • Upsell add-ons, specialty drinks
  • Handle transactions, process payments, and provide accurate change

Food & Beverage Preparation

  • Follow recipes and portion guidelines for consistency in drinks
  • Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients, including fruits, vegetables, and coffee beans
  • Prepare and serve light food items such as pastries & toast

Cleanliness & Organization

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including countertops, equipment, and utensils
  • Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and sanitation
  • Restock ingredients, cups, lids, and other supplies as needed

Teamwork & Operations

  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including equipment setup and breakdown
  • Communicate with team members to ensure smooth service flow
  • Monitor inventory and notify management of low-stock items

General Requirements :

Education : High School Degree or equivalent

Experience : Previous experience in a related guest service environment

Qualifications :

  • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills, attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and interdepartmentally, with Restaurant, Kitchen, Spa and other Farmhouse teams
  • Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time and complies with Farmhouse Inn standards
  • Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs, weekend & Holiday availability is mandatory

Physical Requirements :

  • Pushing & Pulling: up to 20lbs frequently and 50lbs occasionally
  • Lifting & Carrying: average weight 30lbs frequently
  • Standing & Walking: constantly
  • Kneeling & Bending: frequently
  • Reaching: constantly
  • Sitting: infrequently
  • Able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation
  • Need to be able to work in a standing position for prolonged periods of time, minus applicable rest breaks/periods.

Pay Range: The starting pay for this position is $16.00 per hour + Tips. This is the pay for this position that Farmhouse Inn reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
