Job Summary Details:

The Day time Forklift Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. Daytime Forklift Operators/Cleaners will operate the forklift pulling trash, plastic, and wood gaylords to the waste management cage for bailing. Once all gaylords are clear from the floor, the forklift operator will then join the day porters to complete cleaning tasks through the remainder of their shift. These positions will have the following shift availability. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays from 6:00am - 5:00pm OR 7:00am - 6:00pm. Pay rate starting $17.50/hr. Must have Forklift Experience and pass a background check.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience required and on the job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift experience
  • 1 year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
  • Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
  • Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
  • Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
  • Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks
  • Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
  • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
  • Inspecting for damages to vehicles.
  • Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs.
  • Operating and managing technical equipment.
  • Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
  • Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
  • Identifying workplace safety hazards.
  • Adhering to safety management standards.
  • Adhering to production schedules.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid fork-lifting certificate.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
  • Good physical condition.
  • Mathematical aptitude.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms
