We are ideally seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our brewery's culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced food-truck/restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements:
Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and meal preparation techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A passion for cooking and providing exceptional food service.
