Building Maintenance Technician (Third Shift)
Location: Pine Grove, PA
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (Long-term, no end date)
Shift: Third Shift | Sunday-Thursday | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: Up to $19.75/hour + Overtime (1.5x after 40 hours/week)
Start Date: Immediate Need

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team on the third shift. This role is responsible for the maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems, boilers, air compressors, and other critical plant utilities. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical experience in a manufacturing environment and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety in all tasks and environments.
• Lead and train HVAC Technicians as needed.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical drive systems and electrical systems.
• Install and maintain pumps, hydronic systems, and piping.
• Interpret blueprints, manuals, and codes to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors as directed.
• Size, select, and install HVAC and combustion equipment.
• Maintain positive and negative airflow systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of electrical or mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting (5+ years preferred for Master Tech III level).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Experience with fire protection systems, water treatment, and air compressors is a plus.

Additional Information

• This is a long-term, contract-to-hire opportunity with no set end date.
• Overtime is available and compensated at 1.5x the regular hourly rate.
