PURPOSE OF POSITION:

As a Cook at LOTTE Hotel Seattle, you will support the Lead Cook and Sous Chef in the preparation and execution of menu items while ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Culinary certificate required; advanced certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with team members and guests.
  • Strong understanding of food culture, particularly contemporary American cuisine with Pacific Northwest influences.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment, tools, and techniques, including knife handling and food prep.
  • Familiarity with food safety laws and best practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnights.
