As a Vitality Living Laundry Attendant, you will impact lives by:

  • Collect and sort soiled laundry, linens, and garments and place them in appropriate containers or assigned areas to ensure return to their rightful owner.
  • Separate items that require special stain removal/treatment and apply appropriate treatment to restore items to usable condition.
  • Wash items following care instruction labels and established procedures.
  • Fold, count, stack, hang, and distribute clean laundry, linens, garments, etc. by established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area in all laundry areas as well as throughout the community.
  • Monitor laundry supplies and report inventory levels to the supervisor as needed.
  • Monitor the efficiency of laundry equipment and machines and report any irregularities and malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
  • Assist in cleaning floors, including sweeping, dusting, and damp/wet mopping.
  • Assist with keeping walls and ceilings clean by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, etc.
  • Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc. from equipment and other surfaces, using proper cleaning and disinfecting solutions.
  • Discard waste/trash in proper containers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 months of similar experience.
  • Polished and professional customer-focused skills.
  • Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
  • Basic math skills
