At THE ROCK, Grill/Pizza Cooks are responsible for providing the hand-made, high quality dishes we are known for in an accurate and timely manner. We are a family-oriented, casual dining restaurant specializing in wood fired pizza.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and cook menu items through strict recipe adherence
• Maintain a clean work environment in accordance with company, state, and county health codes
• Operate kitchen equipment including but not limited to: dough mixers, pizza oven, knives, grills, stovetops, etc.
• Monitor and rotate product to ensure quality of ingredients
• Inform management of items needing to be ordered
• All other kitchen duties as assigned by management
• Observe all company policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• An upbeat and friendly attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to stay organized and manage your time effectively
• Ability to stand, reach, walk, and bend for extended periods of time while working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to learn from mistakes
• Ability to adhere to company recipes
• Knowledge of appropriate food handling and sanitation procedures
• Prior experience great but we will train.
• Possess or be able to obtain applicable Food/Beverage handling permits
