**SUMMARY:**
High - limit Bartenders are to prepare and provide proper and professional beverage service to all guests, cocktail staff and all others in a friendly, courteous and timely manner. Act as a cashier for the beverage outlet. All duties are to ensure Grand Sierra Resorts Top tier guests receive a quality product and Exceptional service.
**MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:**
- Any combination of education and training listed that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Cash handling skills
- Strong verbal skills
- Customer service skills
- Office computer/keyboard and software skills
- Telephone skills
- Rotation of product
- Product knowledge
- Sanitizing and cleaning of equipment
- 1. For Consideration, Candidate must meet the following:
- Minimum 1-2 years previous years of Bartender Experience Required
- Previous Money handling/Customer service experience preferred
- Alcohol Awareness Training
- 1. Analytical Skills:
- Bartenders must have the analytical skills to manage their time while performing a multitude of tasks.
1. Equipment/Materials:
- Telephone
- Computerized cash register
- Computer/keyboard/printer
- Liquor guns
- Glass washer
- Hand truck/cart
- 1. Contact with Others
- Constant guest, team member, and manager interaction throughout the entirety of shift.
- Able to communicate and work seamlessly with other departments
- 1. Supervision Received
- Supervision as directed from Shift Manager or above(Interdepartmental Managers as well)
- 1. Consequences of Error
- Procedural errors can occur intermittently. Bartenders with numerous or severe errors are subject to disciplinary action.
- Monetary errors can occur intermittently. Bartenders with numerous or severe errors are subject to disciplinary action.
- 1. Hazards
- Second hand smoke
- Broken glass
- Heavy lifting throughout day
- Mild chemicals for cleaning
11. Physical/Mental/Visual Effort
Ability to walk or stand entire shift up to 5 miles a day
Ability to grasp, bend, stoop, reach, lift and carry equipment up to 160 l
