Maintenance Mechanic**

**Job Description**

Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our new manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for mechanical repairs and facility maintenance on the 2nd and 3rd shifts.

**Responsibilities**

+ Conduct hydraulic troubleshooting on industrial machinery, including motors, hoses, and pumps.

+ Perform pneumatic troubleshooting to ensure proper air movement, focusing on pneumatic cylinders and air pneumatics.

+ Diagnose and resolve issues with assembly equipment to maintain continuous production.

+ Break down and rebuild machines as needed.

+ Perform basic MIG welding.

+ Assist with plant facilities maintenance both inside and outside, including tasks such as changing light bulbs, shoveling snow, and maintaining sidewalks.

+ Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting, including diagnosing sensors and working with 240V systems.

+ Communicate effectively with electricians to identify and resolve issues.

**Essential Skills**

+ 5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a fast-paced industrial setting.

+ Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.

+ Experience with assembly equipment troubleshooting.

+ Basic MIG welding skills.

+ Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems, including 240V.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley & Siemens).

+ 480V electrical troubleshooting and 3-phase motors experience.

+ Knowledge of vision systems.

+ Experience with facilities maintenance, including construction tasks such as building lockers and painting.

**Work Environment**

Work in a newly renovated facility equipped with cutting-edge technology, including CNC machinery and conveyor systems. Enjoy a collaborative atmosphere where teamwork is valued. Positions are available for 2nd and 3rd shifts, with training on 1st shift. Expect to work an average of 40 to 60 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
