Job Details Little Water is looking for an experienced Server to join our team!This is a full time position, paid hourly + tips and candidates must be willing to work 40+ hours, 5 days a week. Candidates must be available to work Tuesday - Sunday.
Located in Rittenhouse Square, Little Water is the latest restaurant of husband-and-wife team(James Beard-nominated) Chef Randy Rucker and Amanda Rucker. Inspired by the Ruckers'
experiences living along the Gulf Coast, New England, and Mid-Atlantic regions, Little Water is a
contemporary coastal restaurant that celebrates the ecological diversity of life by the sea.
Responsibilities
- Provides expert knowledge of food and beverage menus to guests
- Focuses attention on guest needs and responds promptly
- Maintains complete knowledge of food and beverage menus including ingredients, techniques used and applicable dietary restrictions
- Runs all food and beverages to the dining room
- Maintains complete knowledge of table and seat numbers
- Greets and acknowledges all guests, providing a positive dining experience
- Navigates the POS system (Toast) to input guest orders, fire courses and process payments in a timely manner
- Perform assigned opening and closing side work
Requirements
- 1 or more years experience as a server or related position
- RAMP, ServSafe Certifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of wine and spirits
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to carry a tray with food and/or drinks
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
- Must be able to move, pull or lift at least 25 pounds
- Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead, and twisting
