Job DetailsPilot Project Brewing is looking for a hard-working line cook with a taste for craft beer to join the Pilot Project Brewing team.
Pilot Project is a brewery incubator based in Logan Square, Chicago. Our approach to brewing industry-defining products happens by fostering relentless experimentation of new brewing recipes, breweries, collaborations, styles, and concepts. Our mission for every guest walking into the Pilot Project tasting room is to experience the thoughtfulness we put into our products by way of expert knowledge and impeccable customer service.
Our spirited and dedicated line cooks help us accomplish this by embodying the Pilot Project's high standards and collaborating in the beer-food pairing process. We expect our line cooks to transform high-quality ingredients into unique small plates that compliment our beers through preparing, cooking, and plating food items in an efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Be awesome
- Communicate openly and respectfully with all team members
- Prepare, cook, and plate basic small plates, appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and other items.
- Maintain standards for keeping the kitchen and facility clean and sanitary
- Follows recipes and complies with portion sizes, quality standards, department rules and procedures, and Department of Health regulations
- Wash dishes
- Remove dirty/unneeded glass and plate ware from customers dining space during slow periods
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Understand all functions of in-house POS system
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00) plus tips
