LAtelier de Joel Robuchon Miami awarded Two Michelin Stars in 2022 and again in 2023 is the latest incarnation of Chef Joel Robuchons groundbreaking concept, which first opened in Paris Saint-Germain neighborhood in 2003, followed by Tokyo the same year. The restaurants signature counter seating faces directly into the open kitchen, allowing for a dynamic interaction between chef and diner, and view into the creative process. The legendary Chef Joel Robuchon was a visionary and trailblazer who transformed the way French cuisine was prepared and presented. Before his passing, he held 31 Michelin starsmore than any chef in historyand ran 29 restaurants spanning 11 countries, in cities including Hong Kong, Las Vegas, London, and Monaco, among others.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Line Cook to join our exceptional team of service leaders. This position works under the direction of the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine and will be exposed to a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking and garnishing various foods efficiently within the L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon standards in every aspect.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversees assigned areas of culinary production and works service.
  • Execute recipes, maintain kitchen equipment, and always be on time
  • Use working knowledge of basic cooking techniques; measuring, knife skills, sauteing, grilling, roasting, poaching, etc.
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards of the restaurant.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-3 years experience professional cooking experience in a Michelin rated restaurant or establishment of similar caliber.
  • Culinary Degree is highly preferred
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent level of education, required (Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule. (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • You must be organized, motivating, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and of course personable.
