AMSA Food Service Assistant

AMSA Charter School is looking to hire two part-time, 20 hour per week, Food Service Assistants for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are interested in working with us part time, we are looking for your help!

AMSA does not currently have a working kitchen on-site. School lunches are provided by our catering vendor and delivered daily. The Food Service Assistant's responsibilities are:

• Set up the Food Service line for daily lunch. Lunch is provided by the school caterer in sealed, individual containers and not cooked on site.
• Serve delivered meals to students.
• Clean all food service areas, lunch trays and tabletops in the school cafeteria on a daily basis.
• Clean and sweep the kitchen and cafeteria on a daily basis (and if needed, mop as well).
• Trash removal: Empty all trash barrels in the cafeteria. This includes tying the bags and placing them into the dumpster (note - need to be able to lift up to 30lbs) as well as relining the barrels with clean bags.Job Type: Part-time, 10:00 am - 2:00 pmPay: $17.00 per hour
