New Job Title: Custodian
Essential Function: This job consists of any combination of cleaning duties to foster a safe, clean, and orderly facility.
Primary Duties:
- Lunchoom cleaning – Completes a daily cleaning of lunch rooms including but not limited to: empties trash, dusts/mops floors, and thorough cleaning of tables, walls, handles, microwaves, refrigerators, etc.
- Distribution center cleaning – Power sweeps aisles, vacuums under/around flow rack lanes, cleans stairways, dusts/sweeps shelves, printers and other misc items in the area.
- Facility restroom cleaning – Completes cleaning of all restrooms in the facility daily.
- Office area cleaning – Completes vacuuming, dusting, and general cleaning in all areas required daily.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping experiencing desired but not necessary
- Ability to work with limited supervision

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements:
- Requires stand and walking for 8 hours a day
- Requires frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and other exertion depending on activity that is being completed
- Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders
- Must be able to see and read labels on products and follow all safety guidelines regarding the product characteristics
- Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from 25 degrees Fahrenheit to 105 degrees Fahrenheit
- May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion
- Must have adequate hearing to hear warnings from powered vehicles, emergency alarms, and verbal announcements
