The Groundskeeper position focuses on maintaining Zoot-owned properties by performing routine lawn and ground maintenance and improvements to include mowing, weed-eating, planting, maintaining sidewalks and drives, snow and ice removal in the winter, and providing additional support to the Facilities group.

The Facilities Group focuses on maintaining Zoot's physical property.

Essential Job Functions

  • Clean common, amenity, and ground areas on a daily basis.
  • Operate a variety of mowing and trimming equipment.
  • Installs landscape designs, trims, cultivates, and waters a variety of shrubs, hedges, plants, tress, and grass.
  • Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
  • Perform snow and ice removal duties to keep parking lots and sidewalks clear prior to the start of the work day, which may require work outside of normal business hours or on the weekend.
  • Performs minor constructions and assembly projects.
  • Assist in the maintenance of irrigation systems and other equipment.
  • Compliance with and knowledge of Zoot's Policies and Procedures, Code of Business Conduct, and Employee Agreement.
  • Achieve a service-focused culture with emphasis on delivering on-time, high-quality products and services to internal and external customers.
