**THE JOB:**

As a Cook, you will showcase your culinary skills with precision and creativity. Your warm smile and attentive service will set the tone for an exceptional guest experience. By understanding each guest's unique preferences and needs, you will take ownership of their dining journey, crafting unforgettable WOW moments that extend beyond their stay with us

**THE STARTING RATE:**$19.00

**THE DAY-TO-DAY:**

- Possess a strong understanding of food products and expertly execute culinary techniques.

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

- Replenish kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed for seamless service.

- Properly label and date all products to ensure freshness and sanitation.

- Demonstrate thorough menu knowledge and maintain precision in plate presentation.

- Support kitchen leadership and team members in executing service.

- Master the preparation and understanding of base sauces, stocks, and soups.

- Collaborate with the team to assist with guest needs and inquiries.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**

- Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques

- Identify and safely use kitchen equipment

- Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service

- Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation

- Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation

- Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service

- Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups

- Work as a team, assist all guests needs and inquiries

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:**

- Knowledgeable of weights, measures and various cooking techniques

- Knowledge of knives and knife skills, standard kitchen equipment and supplies, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, Cryovac machine and smallwares

- Knowledge of health and safety and sanitation regulations

- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:**

- Skilled in knife handling and familiar with standard kitchen equipment and tools, including but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, Cryovac machines, and smallware's.

- Proficient in weights, measurements, and a variety of cooking techniques.

- Well-versed in health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively.

- Has previous experience working as a line cook and/or a food and beverage role
