Part-time Family Assistant & Light Housekeeper, Detailed & Proactive

Schedule: The ideal schedule is Monday through Thursday, 1:00pm to 6:00pm but the family is flexible and open to offering up to 30 hours for the right candidate.

Children: 3 and 5 year olds.

Duties: The duties include childcare, driving children, meal prep and cook simple, healthy dinners two nights per week, light housekeeping such as vacuuming, washing dishes, cleaning the kitchen and general tidying, water plants, wash dog bed and toys, vacuum cars (family has deep cleaners every other week), family laundry, errands, occasional grocery shopping, and organization projects. Ability to walk the dog is a plus.

Requirements: The ideal candidate is capable, attentive, and proactive, with the ability to keep the household running smoothly. They should have a genuine love for children, enjoy cooking, be highly organized, and comfortable working alongside Mom in the afternoons. Excellent communication skills are a must. A conscientious driver with a car for use on the job is required. They must be up to date on, or willing to obtain, vaccinations including Tdap and MMRand must also be comfortable around and enjoy being with large dogs.

Salary range: $40 - $45

Benefits: This position offers two weeks paid vacation, seven paid holidays, five paid sick days, guaranteed pay 52 weeks of the year and mileage reimbursement.
