Facility Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician (Facility Handyman) Location: Glens Falls, NY Pay: $23–$25 per hour Shift: First Shift – 8-hour shift between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM (set schedule to be discussed)

Overview: We're seeking a reliable and versatile Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our team at our Glens Falls facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of hands-on tasks, takes pride in their work, and has a strong attention to detail. You'll be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and general upkeep throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on facility equipment and systems

• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues

• Complete odd jobs and small projects around the facility as needed

• Handle basic carpentry, painting, and patchwork

• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner

• Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld in maintenance areas

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience required (residential or light industrial)

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems a plus

• Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic
