Work Performed:
The Housekeeping Supervisor will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with established service standards ;
Conduct appropriate coaching and accountability of housekeeping associates when service, performance, or cleanliness standards are not met ;
Provide direction, support, timely feedback and recognition of performance in keeping with Atriums performance management standards and Core Values ;
Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and verify room statuses ;
Forecast necessary levels of staffing and supplies to facilitate effective scheduling and ordering with a focus on profitability and cost control ;
open and close housekeeping department by assigning and monitoring daily operations ;
Manage Lost and Found by tracking items, communicating with guests and scheduling items to be returned ;
Promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts of the hotel ;
Assist with scheduling Associates according to business levels;
Able to conduct daily stand up with the housekeeping team ;
Use laundering equipment to safely and thoroughly clean and press linen, keeping the work area clean and safe ;
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report equipment problems and maintenance issues, accidents, injuries and safety hazards, or unsafe work conditions to leadership ; and
Any an d all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.

Coordinar actividades con otros departamentos para garantizar que los servicios se presten de manera eficiente y oportuna, de acuerdo con los estandares de servicio establecidos.
Realizar entrenamientos adecuados y aplicar medidas de responsabilidad a los asociados del departamento de limpieza cuando no se cumplan los estandares de servicio, desempeno o limpieza.
Brindar direccion, apoyo, retroalimentacion oportuna y reconocimiento del desempeno, de acuerdo con los estandares de gestion del rendimiento y los Valores Fundamentales de Atrium.
Inspeccionar habitaciones de huespedes y areas publicas para asegurar el cumplimiento de los estandares de limpieza y verificar el estado de las habitaciones.
Pronosticar los niveles necesarios de personal e insumos para facilitar una programacion y pedidos eficaces, con enfoque en la rentabilidad y el control de costos.
Abrir y cerrar el departamento de limpieza asignando y supervisando las operaciones diarias.
Gestionar el departamento de Objetos Perdidos llevando un registro de los articulos, comunicandose con los huespedes y programando la devolucion de los objetos.
Promover los esfuerzos de saneamiento, seguridad y proteccion del hotel.
Asistir con la programacion del personal segun los niveles de actividad.
Capacidad para realizar reuniones informativas diarias con el equipo de limpieza.
Utilizar el equipo de lavanderia de manera segura y eficaz para limpiar y planchar la ropa de cama, manteniendo el area de trabajo limpia y segura.
Seguir todas las politicas y procedimientos de la empresa en materia de seguridad y proteccion; reportar problemas con equipos, problemas de mantenimiento, accidentes, lesiones, riesgos de seguridad o condiciones de trabajo inseguras a la gerencia.
Realizar cualquier otra tarea necesaria para cumplir con el proposito principal del puesto.
Qualifications:
Required Prior Experience:
Six (6) months of housekeeping and/or related experience
Preferred Prior Experience:
Hospitality experience
Preferred Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Technology:
Basic computer knowledge
Physical:
A ble to lift a minimum of 50lbs occasionally and 25lbs regularly
Able to bend and squat repeatedly
Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
Other:
Fl exible to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
