We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and dedicated Housekeeper (Environmental Support Assistant) to help maintain a clean, healthy, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Position Summary:
The Housekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring that our facility remains clean, orderly, and safe. This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and other parts of the facility in accordance with company standards and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, dining rooms, and offices.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish furniture and fixtures as needed.
- Remove trash and replace liners.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and treat all residents with dignity and respect.
- Assist with laundry services as needed.
- Respond promptly and courteously to resident or staff requests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience (especially in a healthcare or senior living environment) is a plus.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and respectful attitude toward seniors.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and work on feet for extended periods.
