As a Server at Thunderbolt, you'll play a central role in creating an exceptional guest experience, combining creativity and expertise to deliver innovative yet approachable cocktails .Utilizing your expertise and professionalism to be well-versed in all in-house food and beverage offerings, while contributing to a laid-back, neighborhood environment where exceptional hospitality is the priority
- Uphold and actively promote the companys mission, vision, and core values.
- Exhibit a sense of urgency when attending to guests to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Welcome guests promptly upon arrival and express gratitude at their departure.
- Assist with seating guests according to arrival order and rotation procedures, accommodating special needs when necessary.
- Use suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest experience and achieve average check targets.
- Accurately enter guest orders into the point-of-sale system.
- Verify the completeness and presentation of prepared orders before serving.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and in accordance with service standards.
- Provide attentive, courteous service throughout the entire guest dining experience.
- Demonstrate knowledge of station and floor layouts for smooth service coordination.
- Maintain strong familiarity with the menu and product offerings.
- Pre-bus tables efficiently, clearing, cleaning, and resetting them promptly after guest departure.
- Address guest complaints and requests courteously and escalate issues to the supervisor when needed.
- Follow safe cash-handling practices and accurately process cash, credit card, and discount transactions.
- Proactively assist team members as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service areas at all times.
- Complete assigned side-work, including deep-cleaning tasks, to maintain operational standards.
- Provide prompt, courteous service while maintaining a positive demeanor with both team members and guests.
- Adhere to brand standards and internal policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned to support business needs.
Essential Functions
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs
- Ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs to shoulder height
- Able to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift, and grab
- Must have sufficient mobility to move and operate in work area
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout a 4 to 8 hour shift
- Must be able to hear well in a loud environment to respond to employee and guest needs
- Must meet any state, county or municipal regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling
- Must be able to observe and differentiate between monetary denominations
- Must be able to serve all menu products
- Must be able to operate point of sale system
- Must be able to work around potentially hazardous chemicals
Position Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Must be able to pass all required tests and training requirements for the position
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Meets uniform and grooming standards and maintains them throughout the shift
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends
- Possesses excellent guest service skills
- Possesses basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Must be dependable and able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions
- Places a value on diversity and shows respect for others
