Maintenance Engineer**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for effectively completing preventive and proactive maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns. You will utilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages, collaborating with other departments. As the initial responder when a line stops producing, you will ensure that the appropriate mechanical help is on site to quickly correct any problems using your electrical and/or mechanical skills.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment, tools, and utility systems to minimize manufacturing downtime.
+ Complete all required paperwork and documentation in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment, including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary.
+ Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions using voltmeters or other testing devices.
+ Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
+ Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
+ Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards.
+ Support the facility's food safety and food quality programs to assure compliance and achieve desired results.
+ Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and strong electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair skills.
+ Experience with 3 Phase motor controls, low voltage controls, motor drives - contactors and Allen Bradley drives, and 480V.
+ Must successfully pass the Ramsey Mechanical (Electrical) Skills and Aptitude Assessment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
+ Willingness to work flexible hours.
+ Ability to communicate effectively.

The facility is somewhat climate-controlled but can get hotter in the summer and colder in the winter. The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
