To perform in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner a combination of duties mainly related, but not limited to answering telephones, greeting, assisting and checking families into and out of Target House, Parcels or Memphis International Airport, giving recommendations, and providing directions, which contributes to an overall positive experience. Smile and greet guests in a welcoming manner, as the first point of contact. Assists Security with controlling access by signing in and out visitors, volunteers and vendors into Target House. The role is responsible for performing a combination of duties in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner. These duties include, but are not limited to, answering telephones; greeting, assisting, and checking families into and out of Target House, Parcels, or Memphis International Airport; giving recommendations; and providing directions to contribute to an overall positive guest experience. This position is the first point of contact and is expected to smile and greet guests in a welcoming manner. Additionally, the role assists Security with access control by signing in and out visitors, volunteers, and vendors at Target House. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position that requires working 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM on weekdays and 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM on weekends, including holidays. Employees will have at least one weekend off per month. Bilingual candidates are preferred. Job Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service and support to all guests in the assigned area. Maintain the overall quality and cleanliness of the assigned area. Assist within the designated area, such as house management, the volunteer department, the front desk, or guest services. Monitor and maintain inventory and supplies as assigned. Document and share reports related to the assigned area as required. Perform other related duties as assigned or directed to support departmental goals. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Minimum Education and/or Training: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum Experience: One (1) year of applicable experience in a service-oriented, customer-focused environment is preferred. Demonstrates a basic understanding of guest services concepts, processes, and guidelines. Performs standard tasks within own area (e.g., house management, volunteer/event department, front desk, patient or guest services) in a timely and professional manner. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
