What we are looking for:

A Housekeeping Inspector that is responsible and reliable to help supervise the work of housekeeping staff, conducting room inspections, and ensuring that all cleaning procedures are carried out correctly, efficiently and on time. A keen eye and an attention to detail is key!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Training the staff to provide the hotel's sequence of cleaning services and to adhere by all cleaning and sanitizing protocols
  • Mentoring, coaching, and counseling the staff
  • Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms and public space
  • Providing day to day support to lead housekeeping supervisor
  • Establishing safe working conditions through proper training
  • Assigning and organizing daily duties
  • Providing exceptional levels of service to our guests

The role requires knowledge of housekeeping service techniques, basic computer skills, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

  • Must have two-years of previous housekeeping experience in a commercial setting. Hotel experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate attentively and effectively with guests, associates, and management.
  • Ability to multitask, delegate, and prioritize efficiently.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Must be friendly, approachable, and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Must be available to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2+ years of housekeeping experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems is required.
  • Previous experience in hotel or related fields is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • The role requires standing, walking, and handling manual tasks like lifting (up to 50 pounds).
  • Ability to operate various devices like computers, copiers, and telephones.
  • Must have visual and physical dexterity for analyzing data and performing repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • The work environment is primarily indoors with moderate noise levels and temperature variations.
