Custodian Maintenance - Greenville Center

Responsibilities: Perform routine cleaning of college facilities and buildings. Facilities cleaned include offices, common areas, restrooms, game rooms, the fitness center and classrooms. Duties performed include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
Qualifications: Applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent and entry level position experience. Current Texas driver's license and insurable with the College's insurance carrier. Ability to maintain physical activity over prolonged periods of time; demonstrate safe work habits and safe use of equipment and/or chemicals; utilize hands, arms, feet, and legs simultaneously; knowledge of the proper lifting techniques with the ability to apply these techniques; skill in janitorial maintenance of facilities using standard equipment. Ability to lift/carry 50 pounds or more.
Salary: The annual salary range for this position is $36,000 - $40,000.
Fringe Benefits: This position covers health insurance at 100% for employee. Additional optional coverages include dental, vision, AD&D, life insurance, and long- and short-term disability. Other benefits include retirement under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, accrued sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, and an employee reimbursement/dependent scholarship program. Health benefits require a 60-day employment period.
