Description:

Assistant Cook - Poplar Grove Elementary School - 4.5 hours per day

Job Summary:

• Handle lunch cards and ensure accountability and consistency with meal counts.
• Assist in preparation of food portions and prepares cafeteria counter as needed.
• Serve students and staff from the cafeteria counter as needed.
• Performs the daily cleaning of all kitchen equipment, and the washing and sterilizing of all dishes, silverware, and utensils as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Knowledgeable of safety precautions regarding blood borne pathogens
• Food certification / sanitation certificate required

Salary:

Per NBESS Salary Schedule
