This is a combined posting for Environmental Services Technician and Senior Environmental Services Technician. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. The Environmental Services Technician performs simple, repetitive cleaning functions in various areas of the hospital. Maintains these areas in a sanitary, orderly and attractive manner in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Their foremost function is to provide and environment conducive to patient care and recovery. Performs these tasks with the highest degree of accuracy and attention to detail due to the critical nature of some areas of the hospital.
The Senior Environmental Services Technician performs specifically Discharge Cleaning duties In-Patient Rooms to maintain a clean and aseptic environment in the Inpatient Tower. When there are no Discharge Rooms the Discharge Technician Housekeeper will perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Environmental Services Technician Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous healthcare experience, particularly in a service department.
- Experience with, or training in, customer service.
Senior Environmental Services Technician Required Qualifications:
- Must be willing to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continual basis, accept supervision from a number of persons and perform tasks despite frequent interruptions.
- The ability to perform tasks with due consideration for patients, staff, visitors in the vicinity.
