Spalding University is seeking a Part-Time Dishwasher.

Monday through Thursday

11am - 6pm

Summary:
The Part-Time Dishwasher at Spalding University is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned efficiently and effectively. This role is crucial in supporting the overall operations of the university's dining services by providing a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned according to health and safety standards.
- Assist in the disposal of waste and recyclables in accordance with university guidelines.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs for dishwashing equipment to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the dining services team.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is advantageous but not required.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Capability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills to interact with kitchen staff and management.
