Job DescriptionPosition Description:
- Setting up a la carte and private dining rooms for all meal periods including set-up of tables and chairs, linens and skirts, flatware, buffets, coffee and beverage stations
- Performing opening and closing side-work for each meal period
- Taking guests order for food and beverage items, serving and bussing tables, passing hors d?oeuvres and serving wines/champagnes according to Faculty Club standards
- Attending to beverage stations
- Cleaning and resetting dining rooms for next meal period following set standards
- Responsible for maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with city and state laws, Harvard Environmental Health and Safety regulations, departmental and HACCP policies.
- Works cooperatively with all members of the team.
- Complies with State of Massachusetts and Faculty Club?s "Food Employee Illness Policy".
- Maintains a respectful and professional demeanor, always promoting a positive relationship between Faculty Club and all guests. Maintain a neat appearance and comply with proper dress code as designated by Faculty Club.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous Hotel/restaurant experience.
- Fine dining server experience.
- Basic knowledge of wines.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Routinely lift an average of 50 lbs. without restrictions.
- Must be of legal age to sell alcohol (21), 18 to serve it.
Additional Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in Micros or other POS system very helpful.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task when necessary.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Additional Information
- Standard Hours/Schedule: 40 hours per week/20 hours per week/Sun. - Sat. Flexible Schedule depending on business needs. FT 40 hrs for 5 months April, May, June, Oct. & Nov., then 20 hrs Feb., March, Sept. & Dec.
- Compensation Range/Rate (including Shift Differential if applicable): 27.18 - 28.68
