  • Responsible for providing an upscale guest experience by making and serving craft cocktails and drinks.
  • Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines.
  • Resolves service problems according to established guidelines. Escalates issues to Food & Beverage leadership.
  • Provides fast, friendly, professional beverage service to guests.
  • Remains knowledgeable on all products in outlet, in addition to all casino events, amenities, and promotions.
  • Suggests and upsells products according to amenity availability to increase sales and guest loyalty.
  • Prepares and pours drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipe and established guidelines and presents drinks to guests as required. Adds garnishes according to established guidelines and standards.
  • Prepares garnishes as needed that includes but is not limited to slicing, pitting, washing, storing, and stocking.
  • Operates and maintains all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Operates a Point of Sales System, ringing proper amount into the register and giving guest the correct change, accounts for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to established procedure. Maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
  • Maintains a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • General Education Degree (GED) or High School Diploma; six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to count money and change correctly.
  • Must be able to work high volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends, as needed.
  • Must be familiar with cocktail ingredients and proper mixing and pouring techniques.
  • Ability to work in small areas in a fast paced and often crowded environment.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course.
