Job Description
Position Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician
Location: Auburn, ME
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Overtime available)
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour to start
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Auburn, ME. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment used in our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical or electrical systems and a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and
+ Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
+ Inspect machines and diagnose issues using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
+ Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
+ Collaborate with plant supervisors and production staff to address equipment concerns.
+ Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
+ Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery or upgrades as needed.
+ Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and parts.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred.
+ 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in mechanical and/or electrical systems.
+ Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
+ Familiarity with tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety protocols.
+ Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
+ Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
