Barista Wanted - Join Our Creative, Fast-Paced Coffee Team

We're looking for seasoned baristas who are passionate about people, coffee, and community. At Syndicate, our team thrives on collaboration, creativity, and great hospitality. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet every guest warmly and create a welcoming, memorable experience
- Prepare consistently excellent coffee and food with care and attention to detail.
- Understand our menu and ingredients, and confidently communicate with customers about their orders or questions.
- Help maintain a clean and organized cafe, including workstations, floors, equipment, and shared spaces like our patio.
- Handle transactions accurately by following Syndicates register and cash-handling protocols.
- Contribute to a positive team dynamic, and help train and support new hires when needed.
- Flex between different cafe roles (bar, register, etc.) as needed during your shift.
- Follow all Syndicate procedures and health & safety standards.
- Bring a genuine love for coffee, food, and the people who enjoy them.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of barista experience.
- Must have a current California Food Handler Card.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Able to multitask and adapt in a busy, dynamic setting.
- Communicates clearly and respectfully, both in person and in writing.
- Works well with others and contributes to a supportive, inclusive environment.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays; part-time or full-time hours available depending on business needs.
