DESCRIPTION
The Busser provides an exceptional dining experience by ensuring fast, friendly service of guests entering the restaurant, as well as, cleaning and resetting of tables and chairs in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets guests immediately upon their seating, maintaining a cheerful, courteous demeanor and a professional image. Provides personalized service and uses guests' names and preferences when known.
Maintains a clean environment by removing trash from tables, chairs, floor, service stations and restaurant. Removes used dishes, glassware, and flatware from tables and brings used items to the designated area for washing.
Stocks and maintains adequate supply of dishes, flatware, glassware, linen and paper supplies.
Resets assigned tables with silverware, linen, glassware, flatware, in accordance to restaurants specifications.
Completes assigned side work as directed. Deep cleans in use equipment to maintain high level of operation as required (e.g. tables, chairs, coffee machines, soda machines, etc.).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years of age with a High school diploma or GED. Must possess at least 1-2 years' previous experience in a high-volume restaurant or previous experience working in a customer service field.
