DESCRIPTION

The Steward Heavy Cleaner performs any combination of duties to maintain kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment and utensils in a clean and orderly condition. Focuses on cleaning of all heavy-duty equipment, their operation, maintenance, cleanliness and chemical supplies.

Ability to safely and effectively operate heavy duty equipment, deep cleaning of kitchen equipment, moving furniture, kitchen hoods, & deep cleaning floors, etc. Delivers supplies where needed in kitchens, and other supply closets. Knowledge of safety rules and OSHA regulations. Must possess excellent organizational

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED required.

Two years' experience as a Steward, housekeeping, or similar field preferably in a hotel or casino environment.
