Rewind is a 9,000 sq ft premium hospitality venue featuring an elevated speakeasy cocktail lounge with private karaoke (KTV) rooms. These two concepts come together to create a nostalgic, immersive destination rooted in Asian heritage and reimagined through a modern, sophisticated lens. With a focus on intentional storytelling, refined service, and culinary excellence, Rewind is a space for connection, play, and memory-making.

Co-founded by the team behind concepts including The Office of Mr. Moto, TabeTomo, The Residence of Mr. Moto, and Tomokase, Rewind is seeking a seasoned and creative Head Bartender to lead all aspects of the beverage experience at Rewind. Key Responsibilities

Creative Development & Program Execution

  • Work closely with the GM and ownership to refine the beverage strategy
  • Curate seasonal cocktail menus using Asian ingredients and contemporary mixology techniques
  • Source unique ingredients, garnishes, and glassware in adherence with monthly budget and forecast
  • Collaborate with ownership and marketing team on promotions, pop-ups, and bar-led events
  • Ensure high-quality and consistent drink execution across all shifts
  • Assist in research and development of new offering

Operations & Guest Experience

  • Complete all necessary opening and closing side-work; not limited to juicing and cutting fruit, preparing syrups, building garnishes and batches, etc.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the bar and backbar
  • Manage inventory, place orders, and track usage to minimize waste
  • Submit weekly asset lists and maintain dry storage and 86 list updates
  • Maintain ambiance of bar environment including lighting, sound, and setup
  • Maintain full knowledge of food and beverage menus, guiding guest choices
  • Ensure bar prep and service aligns with all DOH, SLA, and internal SOP standards

Leadership & Team Management

  • Train, mentor, and onboard new bartenders and barbacks
  • Lead by example in service, efficiency, and professionalism
  • Develop and implement accountability systems for bar team knowledge and performance
  • Assist in scheduling, sidework accountability, and staff culture development
  • Communicate effectively with management, kitchen, and FOH during service
  • Support beverage trainings and contribute to bartender education programs
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Head Bartender, Lead Bartender, or Bar Manager in a cocktail-driven venue
  • Deep knowledge of Asian spirits, ingredients, and presentation techniques (Japanese cocktail training is a plus)
  • Familiarity with cost tracking tools like xtraCHEF, BevSpot, or Toast
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team while maintaining high execution standards
  • Strong understanding of beverage costing, inventory, and bar operations
Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($17.00 - $21.00)
