Job Title Technical Operations Front of House (FOH) Staff & Event Technicians
Job Description
Assist Technical Operations with:
1. front of house operations - greeting and supporting guests and client needs.
2. technical operations - set-up, run, and strike of all technical aspects of the production/event.
The Technical Operations Department provides front of house support and technical support for all events in Leffler Chapel & Performance Center's Musser Auditorium, the KAV, Tempest Theatre, and the special events in additional venues on campus. Students have the opportunity to work with student and professional performers, lecturers, and artists; while learning valuable live entertainment and event production skills.

Job Duties
FOH - Greet, assist, and provide information to audience/performers for events. patrons needing special assistance with seating, such as handicap seating or hearing impaired seating. Handle situations or seek assistance when needed. Post event signage. Monitor lost and found items.
Event Technician - Assist Technical Operations with set-up, run, and strike of events held in Musser Auditorium, Tempest Theatre, the KAV and special events. Duties may include camera operation, light console operation, sound console operation, follow spot operation, stage management, and equipment and venue maintenance.
Required Qualifications

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Regularly required to climb stairs and/or ladders.
Regularly required to maintain balance while walking, standing, crouching, or running.
Occasionally required to reach up and out with hands & arms.
Regularly required to talk and hear; verbally express information or instructions.
Regularly required to use hands to grasp objects, type, pick up objects, move objects or hold objects.
Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds and carry a distance of 10 feet.
Occasionally required to push and/or pull up to 25 pounds a distance of 10 feet.
