Cleaner & Turnover Specialist (Airbnb Short-Term Rental) Upstate NY (Ticonderoga) compensation: $30-35/hour Job Title: Cleaner & Turnover Specialist (Airbnb Short-Term Rental) Job Type: Part-Time / On-Call (Based on booking schedule) Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner & Turnover Specialist to prepare our Airbnb property for incoming guests. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation, ensuring that the space is welcoming, spotless, and fully stocked with guest essentials. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows a set routine, and understands the importance of creating a five-star guest experience. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning & Turnover Duties: Strip all used beds and inspect linens and towels for stains Start laundry immediately and rotate 3-4 loads throughout the turnover Remake beds with fresh, clean linens Conduct a full kitchen wipe-down, including: Countertops Appliances (inside and out) Cabinets Sink Spot-clean oven Clean stovetop Clean inside/outside of refrigerator Restock guest essentials: Paper towels Toilet paper Trash bags Shampoo & conditioner Hand soap Dish soap Coffee, tea, filters, sugar, etc. Clean all bathroom surfaces: Mirrors Sink Toilet Shower Shelves Straighten and reset living room furniture and decor Vacuum all rooms and area rugs Mop kitchen and bathroom floors Empty and dispose of all trash (including curb placement on Mondays) Reset and tidy outdoor areas (if used by guests) Clean grill and empty grease trap (if used) Check and remove insects or debris on bug stickies Perform a final walkthrough to ensure property is 100% guest-ready Requirements: Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or housekeeping preferred Reliable transportation and punctuality required Must bring own cleaning supplies and equipment (unless otherwise provided) Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks Trustworthy and respectful of guest property and privacy Additional Notes: Communication via text or app updates required to confirm completion and report any damage or missing items Bonus or incentives available for consistent quality and timeliness To Apply: Please submit your resume or brief work history, availability, and a short note on why you're a great fit for this role through craigslist.
