Environmental Services Technician

Overview Dusts, dry mops and cleans items such as medicine cabinets, furniture, metals, mirrors and equipment Vacuums blinds, screens and vents Performs miscellaneous duties such as replenishing supplies Sterilizes rooms after isolation Responsibilities Cleans and services rooms and offices. Cleans and mops floors. Damp dusts furniture and equipment. Washes inside windows. Empties waste baskets. Arranges rooms in an orderly fashion. Cleans bathroom, sinks, mirrors, supplies soap, towels and tissues Cleans patient check out beds and changes curtains as needed. Performs a variety of related duties. Cleans and services buildings. Dust mops, wet mops, buffs floors, halls, rooms, stairways and cleans carpets. Periodically waxes floors, damp dusts furniture and equipment. Gathers and disposes of trash. Cleans high areas, moves furniture and equipment in the hospital as required Qualifications Education: GED or High School Diploma required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read, write, speak and understand Englilsh
