Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center is currently seeking dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Laundry Worker. As a Laundry Worker, you'll play a vital role in keeping our facility running smoothly by maintaining clean linens and clothing and ensuring proper distribution throughout the facility. You may also assist with housekeeping and EVS tasks to support a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for patients, residents, and staff. This is a full-time position.

Pay Range: $16.64-$22.41 per hour depending on experience and qualifications (eligible for shift differentials).

Shift Differentials:

Weekday Nights - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am - $3.00 per hour

Weekend Days - Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 am - 7:00 pm - $3.50 per hour

Weekend Nights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am - $5.00 per hour

Requirements

Position is open to functions of housekeeping, janitorial and laundry services for the facility.

Essential Job Functions:

Cleans, receives and sanitizes clothing and linens on a daily basis.

Assists with laundry pick-up, sorting, folding and delivery.

Minimum Required Education/Experience: High School diploma preferred.

Pre-Employment Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

Ability to receive and understand verbal and written communications.

High degree of attention to detail when completing assignments.

Ability to engage with and work with other personnel and teams.

Note: An acceptable combination of education, training and experience that provides the above knowledge, abilities and skills may be substituted.

Necessary Special Requirements: Must obtain annual flu vaccination, and any job-specific immunizations. Required to complete a tuberculosis screening process.
