POSITION: Substitute Custodian, SY 2025-26 Talent Pool

LOCATION(S): Buildings & Grounds

REPORTS TO: School Principal, Head Custodian, and Custodial Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: This position performs manual cleaning, maintenance, repair, storage, and furniture moving tasks both inside and outside the building.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge of cleaning materials, methods, and equipment used in large public buildings

Knowledge of simple maintenance and repair work and the materials and tools required

Ability to understand the relationship between a clean and healthy environment

Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups

Ability to understand and carry out direct instructions

Must be able to work within difficult time constraints and under stressful conditions

CERTIFICATION / LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Non-certified
