Goosefeather represents the inaugural venture of Food Crush Hospitality, a collaborative endeavor spearheaded by Chef Talde and his wife, Agnes.

About the Role

As a bartender at Goosefeather, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality guest experience through exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, and spirits, along with a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to Goosefeathers beverage standards.
  • Provide excellent guest service by engaging with patrons, answering questions about the drink menu, and making recommendations.
  • Participate in all menu trainings and tastings and pass mandatory menu tests to stay current with menu updates and pairings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Follow proper alcohol service guidelines and ensure responsible consumption among guests.
  • Stock and replenish bar inventory, and assist with inventory management.
  • Assist with bar opening and closing procedures, including setting up, breaking down, and cleaning the bar.

Qualifications

  • Prior bartending experience in a high-end or high-volume restaurant or bar.
  • Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and classic cocktails.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency.
  • TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol Certification preferred.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Transparency: $16.00/hour ($11.00 an hour base + tips). Tips range from $200 - $250 per day.
