Job DetailsOXOMOCO, a Michelin starred wood-fired Mexican restaurant is looking for a driven and experienced Sous Chef!
Ideal candidate would have both strong line and management experience, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. Experience cooking on a wood fire grill is a plus but not required. Most importantly is great attitude, willingness to learn and willingness to help the team provide the best food for our guests.
Requirements/Expectations:
- Have at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar environment and a minimum of 1 year in a management role.
- Are familiar with DOH food safety standards and procedures.
- Must be Food Handler/Food Protection-certified within 3 months of employment, training will be provided if necessary.
- Proficient inventory and ordering skills a plus but not required.
- Flexible work availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain the highest levels of sanitation, cleanliness, and organization.
- Maintain calm under pressure.
- Have a great attitude and are interested in continued learning new skills and developing your career is a must.
- Extensive knowledge of Mexican cuisine is not required but a plus.
- Conversational Spanish not required but a plus.
Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $75,000.00)
