Facility Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organization, is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Facilities and Maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician
Location: St. Petersburg, FL (On-site)
Pay Range: $25/hour

Whats the Job?

• Perform general maintenance and repairs for building interiors and exteriors
• Fabricate and renovate walls, ceilings, and flooring including carpentry, drywall, and painting
• Install light equipment and move furniture as needed
• Maintain waste drums and handle hazardous, non-hazardous, and DEA waste
• Ensure facility areas remain safe, clean, and functional

Whats Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience under a general contractor
• Skilled in carpentry, drywall, painting, carpet installation, and light equipment installation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks (climb ladders, kneel, work at heights)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
