The Role

As a Restaurant Host , you'll be the first friendly face our guests encounter, ensuring they feel right at home. Your role blends style, professionalism, and hospitality, with opportunities for full-time growth within our dynamic team.

This is a part-time, fully on-site position at our club in Portland, OR.

What You’ll Do

• Guest Experience Mastery: Welcome, seat, and ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
• Efficient Reservation Management: Handle reservations with precision, ensuring seamless member experiences.
• Service Excellence from Start to Finish: Execute opening duties meticulously and conduct closing functions for a flawless service.
• Team Collaboration: Demonstrate consistency at daily shift meetings, fostering a cohesive team environment.
• Timing Mastery: Uphold timing standards, personally accomplishing them or coordinating effectively with the service team.
• Tech-Savvy Operations: Master the point-of-sale system, ensuring seamless and accurate transactions.
• Ambiance Maintenance: Engage in cleaning projects to maintain a pristine dining environment and handle supplies with care.
• Proactive Problem Solver: Promptly seek management assistance for service or food-related issues, showcasing a proactive approach.
• Versatile Support: Embrace versatility by assisting servers and contributing to table cleaning, fostering efficiency and teamwork.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Hosting Expertise: Preferred experience in restaurant hosting, although not obligatory.
• Certification: Possession of a valid food handlers permit.
• Customer Service Excellence: Proven track record of excellence in customer/guest service.
• Professional Interactions: Ability to interact professionally and courteously with members and guests.
• Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with OpenTable software is a valuable plus.

• Continuous Movement: Essential job functions involve consistent standing, walking, and verbal communication.
• Flexible Availability: Must demonstrate willingness and ability to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
